Private & semi-private classes
Sure, you can learn how to shoot in a room with 10 other people, but is that the best way for YOU? For some people, it's fine.
Personally, I get the most out of one-on-one instruction or one-on-two instruction, so that's how I teach.
Learn at your own pace in a safe, friendly environment; ask all the questions you want and take all the time you need. I understand how important hands-on training is, so all courses utilize replica handguns and laser targets. Some classes also include time at an indoor shooting range.
CLASSROOM INSTRUCTION
Each class begins with an in-depth Powerpoint presentation and includes hands-on exercises to help you firmly grasp the basic concepts of firearm safety and usage.
LEARN WITH REPLICAS
Students learn proper grip and stance using high-quality replica handguns, which are cast in solid plastic and have no moving parts. Then we move on to an AirSoft gun to get the feel of how the slide moves.

LASER PRACTICE
iTarget uses a special laser bullet, a target, and a smartphone app to track shot placement and improve accuracy

About me: I spent 20+ years working in TV production. I loved it, but it was time for a change. I knew I wanted to find a way to HELP people, but I wasn't sure what was the best way to do that. I've been shooting recreationally and teaching friends to shoot for much of my adult life, and I am passionate about the importance of knowledge and safety in regard to handguns. I decided to turn this passion into a career, so I studied and trained and finally got my certification as an approved NRA Instructor.
I've created these Beginner Classes especially for people who are seeking a greater degree of comfort with and knowledge about handguns.
I'm happy to be able to share my knowledge and skills with you -- to help you become not just comfortable holding a handgun, but hopefully to enjoy shooting it, too!
